I've now finshed the frame up restoration of my 1990 KDX200. Well, as far as my wallet would let me. When it got to the point where I had spent as much as the "blue book" value of the bike... I had to stop. Just about everything in the engine has been replaced but the transmission and the cylinder head. This baby runs just as good as it did on the day I got it. She's a killer log jumper with just over 1500 miles on it!
I just got finished applying the decals to where it looks almost exactly like it did when I was racing the bike in AMA enduros (BlackJack Enduro Circuit) back in '91 & '92 (with the exception of the "polished" swingarm). The blue trim and number plate background are done reflective material.
Oh, yeah... Thanks to Scooter for sending me back the bike stand I left at DG3!
