Notice the new frame. It seems that the first frame was only a test frame for the engine.
Look at the deck height of the engine.
notice its relationship to the frame and steering stem height.
The swingarms are different now.

I think I would. Look at the front end, the brakes, forks, the radiator dosent look stock either. Also looks like the tail is carbon fiber under the paint. external pc jack under the seat, steel lines everywhere. Can you ID those wheels? Never mind that exhaust. Fookin sweet bike if you ask me. Duc996 aint got nothing on that Kawi.

The tick part of this question is what happens when you need parts? If it is a privateers bike they are obtainable if a works bike then most all of the parts are unobtainable.

That said, I might be interested. Is for sell?

Yea, it is the new GP bike. Not for sale.
But would you pay $18,000 for a replica?

Notice the Nitrogen charged front forks.
The low slung frame.
Adjustable swingarm pivot.
PS2 connection.
Radial brakes.
Carbon rotors.
FI access pannels.
Carbon subframe.

I bet its a handfull to ride!

I just heard that E Bostrom will ride this animal in 2003 for Kawi.

He's an inch away from signing a multi year deal... from what I just heard.

All the pieces are falling into place now.

Yeah, including the pieces of his wrist he broke this weekend on that 750!!

I'd like to see him ride it, though. He is my favorite rider with that crazy "hanging off" style he has. With a competitive machine, he'll be the best known of the Bostrom bros for sure!!

The stubby exhausr can must be a screamer!!! The other issue owning the bike would be having to smoke a cigarette after riding it sort of like the preverbial cigarette after sex thing!!

Yea, I'd need a smoke just to calm my nerves after giving that thing a beating.

Watch Oct. 20th this bike will race head to head with the V5 honda and inline yamaha. Oh, and of course the Suzuki V4 thats being redesigned as we speek.

I got it in an email.

Well from what I heard its real close. Offers are flying around for a lot of teams and riders right now. But that offer sounded like it might interest people on this board. Heres a shocker for ya. Honda is planning on making quite a few of these V5s. It seems at least two more teams are getting them at this point. They arnt fessing up any chassis thou. The honda 1200 is changed quite a bit this year. I saw a picture of the FI system a few months ago. Honda is moving quickly these days. They have a new small displacement tight V engined bike coming out but know word if it will make it state side yet.
