need to get rid of some computers asap! sorry fer the very much off topic post folks, but i'm in a bit of a pinch. anyone know someone who could use a few used SUN clone servers? 3 servers, 2 raid arrays, a tape changer, and switches. they'r in fremont but we can ship ups anywhere in the us. ideal buyer would be a used equipment dealer (or similar) who can actually go pick them up as i'm not 100% sure on some of the specs. if anyone knows of someone who may be interested, pelase let me know asap! as in yesterday. freek@bikeland.org

Unless you can show clear documentation for all the boxes, I would stick to Ebay. Any reseller is gonna need that. I just finished some work with Boeing, where their reseller just got shitcanned for selling Boeing a couple 4800s with bogus memory, etc...

unfortunately i dont think i can. they''r at an isp now where they'v bin sittin in secure storage fer almost a year since being taken offline. my client who owns them has lost the docs fer pretty much all of em. i just dont like ebay cause it's such a hassle. but that's where they are right now. just watch them end up selling fer like $20 a piece :\

With all the dot bombs that went off down in the bay, I don't know how much you would be able to get...Ebay is prolly your best choice.

hm...they'v got less than a day left on ebay. $71 so far. oh fuckin goody. these damned things were $10,000 new (ass US$) and r only like 3 or 4 years old. just stupid.

thats not the best of it. one of the computers was $20,000 new. the current version of the same model is maybe like 25 faster, still costs about $20,000, and is at about $130US in the auction, with hours to go :\
