wet nitrous lean spike
ok, im doing some testing on my nitrous before i try it. i have a NOS low fuel pressure switch that will shut off my nitrous solenoid if the pressure drops too low, or if the pump dies. the switch works, as it shows the "momentary lean condition" when the solenoid is first activated. (the test light goes out for just a bit) now if i have my nitrous solenoid wired thru that switch, will it give a tiny burst when its first activated(is that the lean spike everyone talks about?), then shut off during the time the pressure is low(light off), then come back on when the pressure is ok again? or will it be such a small fraction of time that the light stays on before it shuts off due to low pressure that the nitrous solenoid will not even open untill the pressure is high enough? causing a slight rich condition?
or
is the lean condition everyone talks about from wiring the solenoids WITHOUT a low pressure switch? both solenoids come on and stay on, but it takes the fuel a bit to get up to pressure and flow the correct amount?
thx guys

That is why I use a Flow Through Fuel Pressure regulator! This increases the speed of the Fuel but will never be as fast as the 1000 PSI NOS vs the 8 pounds of Fuel! I think you can set the delay in some of these switches!

try to put the safety swith behind the fuel solonid and let it control the nitrous solonoid only.
Safe and gives the fuel a head start. You may have to reduce the trigger pressure
because the jets bleeding pressure.

interesting ideas guys. im going to see what the LM1 tells me with the way its setup now. fuel pressure switch right before fuel solenoid controlling the nitrous solenoid.
