Poll Question: Got the new PCIIIR today. Whadya think happened?
As you know I've been playing ping pong with Dynojet over a PCIIIR that didn't work on my bike. I send them the unit, they check it and say it's good. They send it back and I reinstall. It doesn't work, so they have me send it back and they replace it with a new unit. I got the new unit today and installed it.
So what's your guess as to the results?

This PCIIIR doesn't work either. However the problem is different.

Interesting.... The vast majority figured that the new PCIIIr would have problems too....
Doesn't speak well of Dynojet....
Anyway, the correct answer:
- PCIIIR installed and worked perfectly on the first try.
Imagine that... Of course the one that had to be replaced worked perfectlty too according to their tech support.
I think they need to re-evaluate their testing procedures...

Don't answer fish's question. He dangled that gizmo in one of his threads a couple weeks ago, asked us to guess what it was and never did admit to what it was! Turn about is fair play.
So the real question is when are you going to buy a Yosh box in lieu of the PCIIIr?

Re-post in three weeks and let us know if you can still connect/edit the maps. In my experience (similar to yours) they work when you first install but shortly after fail. I'm on my 3rd; just got it back and going to install today. I too will let you know the results.
