You Guys might get a kick out of this..
So my girls car (Honda Civic) had a check engine light come on,, and she is almost due for the annual inspection,, so i ran the reader on it and the o2 Sensor code comes up,, bank one sensor 2,, which on the little 4 bangers is accesible from underneath,, but it is recessed behind a heat shield ,so now im thinking to use a socket but i didnt have one the right size,, and as im looking thru the garage for something that might work out of the corner of my eye i notice a old front axle from a 12r,,, as luck would have it ,, it was the perfect size! so i clipped the plug off the end of the bad sensor rand the wires thru and then used a small pipe wrench to crack her loose,,, worked like a charm! just thought i would share this with you guys,, everyone probably has the perfect o2 sensor tool laying around and dont know it,, just so happens that the one i had to replace was facing the ground so it worked,, typically they are hard to reach areas like on my S10,, but for all you people that have 4 cylinder Civics there ya go...........the hex section of the axle is the same size of the sensor..
