gonna change my oil, just wondering what oil filter everyone is using. using amsoil 10-40

Oil filter

I go to Wal-Mart & buy Frams...Never a problem with many bikes. Recent ZX9 & new 02 ZX12R... Fram PH6017A motorcycle filter...

I use the factory filter. If there is an engine failure I don't have to listen to the dealer try to get out of things because I had a non OEM filter on the bike. Plus I know it works. You can order the factory filter from Ronayers.com cheap.

I run Redline Synthetic. Made for motorcycles, made to run with the wet clutch etc. Awesome oil.

Kawasaki filter! If Kawasaki knows one thing, it is their engines and how to take care of them. I trust their filters more than anyone elses. -ZXtra

Mobil 1 MX4T and 1072 filter (formerly 1063). The 1072 (or 1063) isn't better then the standard 1070 filter... just cheaper. Using to 1072 instead of 1070 will not affect your warranty, but I doubt if you used a K&N or Fram would either (unless your dealer is a dickhead).
