lost map sensor
my bike was acting up again and now the map sensor will go out to lunch and throw the FI light on.then code 12. so i ordered one. but ridge says he think it defaults to the A-N map on the ecu. so i unplugged it and it seemed to run and idle ok. what is scarey is if it does use the whole map it is like a power commander.a friend at a susike dealer was troubleshooting a ukie and unplugged the map and it did not run verry good. and at higher rpms it signed off. i may play with it but the new sensor will be here in a couple of days.

it will run like shit without it. , just put in the new one

The real question is do you need to buy two so your manifold and static one in the tail match

i put a new one in mine and didnt touch the one in the tail. bike is working great

fastest way is go to Kwak dealer - next day air, but it'll be costly.
