Doug Meyer--Muzzy's help needed
Hi Doug.
Sorry to ask for your direct attention--just not getting the answers I need from the sales/tech line.
A little history--I have a '00 12R that ventilated the block at 8500 miles. To my knowledge cases never opened, dealer finds shop towel inside, had clogged oil pump. Time for a rebuild whether warranty covers or not.
The cylinder is damaged and dealer is sending to Millenium. As a result, I am interested in purchasing either a 1270 kit without the cylinder block or a 1361 kit without the cylinder block--I was able to get pricing on the 1270 parts without the cylinder block but was not able to get 1361 pricing without the block--can you help?
I have prices for 1270 pistons, pins, rings, clips, gaskets. I would like the same for 1361, base plate and crank too (whole kit, just no block).
Thanks again for your help!
Regards,
Mike

You can get that info from Curt or Dave at MUZZYS. You will find that there will not be a cost savings by sending your cyl. to Millenium direct. Also you will need to send the pistons with your cylinder to assure proper clearence.

Thanks for the reply Rob; I am honored to have your direct attention!
I will call and get Curt or Dave.
Thanks for the tip on $ with Millenium; wasn't looking to supercede you guys--when dealer called the info was that you required a good, undamaged cylinder/ crank so dealer thought the only way to do this was to send cylinder directly to Millenium for repair and purchase the other parts from Muzzy's.
Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate the attention Muzzy's pays to board members!!!
Regards,
Mike
