injector cleaner in a bike?
I was out riding this weekend. I had mentioned that I noticed the 12 is a thirsty bike. I ran across a guy that suggest running a 1/2 of bottle injector cleaner about every 5 tank? I did get the bike used and I was wondering if this would be a good idea? I was thinking that the injector cleaner would not be good for the rubber parts of the bike. What do you guys think?

If I use any,only once in a while....Like every 4th oil change or so...I use the Lucas fuel injector cleaner....Not full of all the harsh stuff that some of the other stuff has....And has a top end lubrication...Might be a snake oil, but I haven`t hurt anything yet....JMO...

Cheveron makes the best.......Techron.
You can buy the concentrate at Auto Zone.
OR, just run their gas!

I splash in some Techron a couple times a year.

I`ve never been one to follow what everyone else is doing.....And then again my motor is still together LOL.....Lucas works damn good.....JMHO...

Lucas fuel injector cleaner is good stuff but I really like there oil stabilizer.

Same here....I have a friend that is sponsored by LUCAS,and gets me all my oils,additives,cleaners,ect.ect....I use all LUCAS oil in my ZX for dragracing and street riding...No problems....I replace one qrt. oil with a bottle of oil stabilizer on my oil changes,works good...JMO...
