2005 ZX12 problems
Hey guys,
I just bought a 2005 Zx12 with 5900 miles on it and it rode perfect for the first week but now it every once and a while the bike starts to miss out and it will die at every stop light. some times it does not want to start when it dies. it does not do it every day but once it does it once it will do it all day... I have gone thru 3 tanks of gas (just fyi).
the FI light does come on and i pulled the code it is getting a 25 which from what i read is a gear position switch. Has any one ever heard of this or delt with this before?
or would the gear position switch cause my problem?

If you can post whether its stock or has mods it might help as well....

I don't think the gear switch will cause you to miss. I believe you might have to problems going on. I would start with coils, even start diagnosis on the fuel pump. When it does not start check for fuel and check for spark.

Check the clutch and kickstand switch wiring.

I was thinking maybe a mapping or PC issue, but if its stock then I guess not.....
