ZX12R handles better then the ZX9...

Running through the same curves at 60+ mph in sixth gear & bike is planted with the hp to pull me out. Would have had to drop two gears on the 9 only to break up my continunity, momentum.

I'd like to see the ZX-9 on a diet, lose a little weight, and then I think it will have a place in my heart. But I sure like how much lower it sits compared to the 12. Not quite as touring friendly I didnt think though, for the 12 deflected the air a lot better. Still a nice bike though.

I loved my ole 9. Longest I have ever had any bike. I'd have another one if I had never ridden a 12. Dang HP junkie now!!

60+ in sixth gear in a curve, maybe the wrong gear, not the wrong bike. The twelve is what it is, an awesome raging bull, but stock against stock the nine will always out handle a twelve.

The 9 is one sweet machine. I ran 150 mph with stock suspension settings and it was like sitting in my living room armchair. This friggin 02 ZX12R is starting to piss me off! At 130 it wants to stray. I'm at the point where considering trading it for a Busas!
