Bumping up fuel pressure...
What would be the best way for me to bump up fuel pressure on my 00 with a Muzzys fuel pump? I'm seeing 80% duty cycle with a small shot that yields 30 hp extra on the dyno, wtih 40 hp extra on the dyno, duty cycle jumps up to as high as 90!
How many different options do I have and what would the price range be? Of course 1st gen injectors are smaller than the 02+ but for now I'm interested in ways of bumping up fuel pressure. If I stay with a big-ish shot I'll pony up for the larger injectors. Any particular product you guys recommend?

Can you get to the fuel pressure regulator. I have seen mention of working the spring pressure over in the regulator to increase fuel pressure.

You know I'm not sure where its located. I may need to look at the microfiche diagram. I thought the Muzzys pump pushed out 50 psi but I'm not sure where/how to introdue ways of actually adjusting pressure.

I'd like to explore all of my options. Besides, as stated:
If I stay with a big-ish shot I'll pony up for the larger injectors. ;-)

You might want to switch to an external pump with an adjustable regulator like used on a turbo setup. Look in the Kinsler catalog (kinsler.com) for the most complete array of choices. Lot's to learn in there as well. It's a great resource.

on your year model your regulator is external right ? couldnt you just crimp your return line a little ?
you do know that you will have to remap, everywhere.
