2000 12 collectors item?
Do you guys think that the 2000 12 will be worth something in the years to come. I was courious since the 2000 was the first and last year for top speed and is THE FASTEST production bike made. Also that was the last year for the speed wars.

A clean low mileage bike will always be worth something, just depends if the right buyer is available.
I always find it amusing to look in the NADA guide and price a 1982 KZ1000R-S1. I think they had it "wholesaled" at $1200 or so. Shoot, find me some at that price in nice condition and Ill give you 4 times the book value...lol 
I cant imagine a good condition 2000 ZX12 being worth any less than $5k in the next few years.

I suspect it will be one of the collectable bikes at some point. Ususlly a bike will drop in value for several years and then start its recovery.
My wifes bike (CB-1) keeps holding its value year after year. Its an 89 and they are starting to go up in value again.

how much would a clean bone-stock 75' z-1b be worth?...i think the 00'12r will be worth something...it'll be one of those 'remember when' and good ol' days bikes as we struggle with manufacture's future speed/hp limits

I know of 2 for sale right now. $8 and $9k respectively. Low mileage very nice condition motorcycles. Pretty damn fast too!
I saw a TC with 2miles on it once. Asking price?? $25k.
The real question is....how much is an original Z1 stock exhaust system worth???
BTW, Zturb0 has a very nice Z1. You see it and its so clean, you flash back to the 70s man! Museum quality for sure!

...and to think that I installed a Yoshimura and chucked my original, stock, and oh-so-clean Z-1 exhaust in the trash bin back in 1975...nobody wanted them back then...whodda thunk???
