Dunno. I just needed a replacment for my old street boots. Getting a pair of Vert Race boots, based on how comfortable these boots are.

My VIIs are getting more comfy every week. We are in the house slipper catagory now.

swft...I got the Vertabrae 1's. I'm happy with them.

The only thing that might happen is the vertabrae part might squeek when you walk. I applied a bit of WD40 about a year ago and they haven't squeeked since.

The wife and I both got a pair at the same time. Even so we payed $800.00 cdn. for the 2 pair and that was a deal. Oh well, you buys 'em and you wears 'em. -ZXtra

They definitely squeak when you walk, but as you said, a bit o' lube solves that no problem.

Glad to hear you dig'm Swft.

Would these boots be ok for a wide foot?

I would say so, Kwakattak. I wore great big Coolmax socks under my boots today and after 6 hours there was no discomfort. They have a very generous amount of room from the instep forward.

The best part about newenough.com is that they don't have a strict return policy. If you don't like something, send it back! They'll keep swapping you until you get something you like.

Check out newenough.com and read the writeups that Paul does for the products. Very in depth, and so far very accurate.

Let's see, I beleive Humam did. And for the record I had to buy a 12 since you had no chance of riding with me / keeping up with me on either my Aprilia or the GSXR1000! And as my record clearly demonstrates I ghave decked out everyone of my bikes! And for the record the bird was bored and stroked long before you had your 12!!!!

And with all that said your bike is or was a slow red one so all of that doesn't count!!!!

And let us not forget all of the crap you have given me about my robocop boots!!

I love the fit of mine. I would suggest you take a moment and loctite the various fasteners holding the exoskeleten pieces on. I lost a couple of the bolts and had to replace them.

Thanks for the info re wide feet. Most Italian boots tend to be quite narrow, and my feet are definitley not.
