Akra question
The I.D. of my AK canister is 1.90", the I.D. of my sons AK on his '02 R1 is 2.10"....what am I missing here?
It seems like a larger engine needs to breathe more, hence a larger baffle makes sense to me. The "S" bends looks to be the same diameter, I may swap while he's not looking and make a run to the dyno.
Any ideas?
BTW, I realize some back pressure may be in order but I need a few more ponies up top right now.

Maybe he has the Race can and you have the Street version.
I alway wanted to know the difference too.

Always wondered that myself, gonna have to measure mine now. Supposedly I've got the race pipe.

How 'bout some of you folks that have AK's measure the exhaust tip inside diameter and post here, I would really appreciate it, maybe they have changed the canister....Bigger may be better!!
BTW, I don't believe there is a street version available for the 12.
Thanks,
Dan

Looks like mine measures about 1 7/8" id... I think they make 3 different pipes for the 12 , but not sure.
