to work or shopping type trips i wear jacket and work pants (jeans basically)
any other riding, especially "sunday" riding is full leather suit. i have an older joe rocket highside suit, it has served me well , leaving bits and pieces of itground into pavement for 75 ft or so. this means i didnt lieave bits and pieces of ME ground into apvement. 2 small impact abrasions on one knee and one elbow where leather rubbed skin on impact.
this was a 70+mph getoff.
i have heard from store and friend that newer joerocket highside suit is of lesser quality. their top end stuff though aparently is ok, as evidenced by nicky hayden's little highside at daytona.....
i want a nice thick one-piece suit...

....I made it less than 1/8 mile before I needed every stitch of my gear!!!!! I wonder if they make steel re-inforced leather pants???? LOL
