let the throttle bodies loose, and the top rear engine bolt.......

Just as easy to totally remove the motor at that point.....

hey guys never used this method but it sounds solid.i removed my engine by setting my rear tire on a bike jack or lift, then having a wooden block to support the motor. i removed all motor mounts and electrical wiring, throttle bodies also fuel lines. then slowly lift the rear tire raising the whole frame from the motor.after making sure all wiring is clear . slowly slide motor away from frame.unfortunately for me due to rod failure i got real good at this, igot this procedure down to 1 1/2 hours or less.

With race body work, I can have my motor out in 30 to 45 min. That is with a Adams pan, or Koenig pan on the bike......, using a transmission jack. Takes long to put it back in, just making sure all is routed right, and no kinks, etc.

Just rebuilt a stock motor this Friday.

don't remove the TB or fuel lines with the engine. Saves some time on removal and install.
