The Swing Arm extensions....
This weekend out at the track I seen some swing arm extenderes. I really liked the way they looked. WHo sells these? Website? Likes/Dislikes?

Fast Gixx on LaBusas sells them I think. Around 260 shipped.

Or, if you want someone else to do it for you, Muzzy will weld extensions on for $445 for a 3" extension and $524 for the 6"extension. The price goes up if you want them to polish things up for you. Here's the link:

Nope, sure isn't anything "humble" about Texas. I suspect that some Yankees nested there years ago, and it was then named. BTW "yankees" seem to be anyone born out of Texas to the north; "messkins" are all folk from south of Texas, including Brasil, Cuba, Barbados, even Mexico.

Those were my old extensions on the new blue 12, DJ. I liked them pretty well but they weren't quite long enough for me. I think he has a longer version of them also.

He tells me they are from 3.5" to 6". Is that adjustable or how does that work? I want no less than the full 6" extension. I really liked the ones I seen at the track over the weekend.
Comments/Suggestions.?

They are just like the stock swingarm, just an extension of it. You will have a lil bit of room to adjust your gearing just like now with the stock swingarm. With the short extension, you can flip your brake caliper up and use the stock brake line. With a longer extension, you may need to purchase a longer brake line.

Normally 10 extra links for your chain will do but it depends on how far back you go with your rear tire

The way I measured, I could only get 5" over the bolt ons. I wanted 6" so I sold them.

Can you explain why he only got the 5" over all? I definalty want the full 6". Want to make sure I dont get caught in the same problem krexken did.

I used to make them the same length as the slide area on the stock arm. I now make them longer. I had to be sure that once the rear tire was slid all the way back there is still enough room to safely use the rear brake caliper slot. They are now a 6 full inches.

Is it possible to make bolt-on extensions like that strong enough to allow for a lot of adjustability? Like from the shortest extension possible, (like, 3" or something), with the room to go up to 6" longer??

I have the welded on adjustable ext. swingarm (3-6 over)....Nothing against the Bolt-on version but I just like to insure the strongest option possible.... That is allot of power/pressure to the rear wheel!!!!!
After time - do they show wear around the bolt holes????
Has anyone ever had issues with a bolt that has snapped???
I am curious if my skepticism is warranted!

Yes it is. I'm working on making them the same length as the Suzuki extensions 4 to 8
The extentions work just as well as the welded ones with better benifits(you arent stuck with an extended swingarm. They have been on bikes over 350 hp wih no problems. look for them in the next issue of Sport Rider Magazine

I have been making these Extensions for a very long time. have sold over 300 sets WorldWide and have never had a set fail.
The Bolts have little to do with the strength of the extensions since the load is against the Stainless steel well nuts and the extensions themselves. If you installed them you would understand better.
ZX12girl,did u watch the video I sent a couple of months ago? You guys install those Chrome ZX12 decals that I sent ya?
