New to this bikeland...
Hi Ya'll,
Anyone know where I can hook up with some owners of late-model Harleys who are REAL knowledgeable about workin' on them? I just bought a 00 883 Sporty for my wife and the the rocker covers are leakin' quite a bit. The bike has less than 3k miles on it and I got it for a good price...so I don't mind doin' a little bolt-torquin' or gasket replacin'...whichever is needed.
As for my ride...it's a 94 Softail Custom...just turned over 10k miles. My first Harley!

Ummmm... do you have any OTHER bikes, like a Sportbike, maybe?

Not any more...I did have a 93 CBR900RR. I get your point...this is the ZX12RZone...right? I also have a 90 KTM 500MX...if it helps, my VERY first bike was a '75 Kawasaki KE100 ;^) That was back in '76...

Welcome!...there ARE members here who have Harleys (just don't know off the bat), and perhaps they'll help you...better yet, try your question at the bikeland forum where its not so 12R intense...I've ALWAYS liked Harleys (HEY!...no hitting!!!)...could never afford the big-inchers, probably never will (*sigh*)...hey!(ducking with ninja-like cat reflex precision)...who threw that wrench????...Dino????
