Nail in tire- what to repl with?

Ok nail in rear tire on way to work this am, still holds air (with nail). Will ride to shop tommorow to get replaced. Called today they dont stock 200-17. Anyone used dunlop d207 190? Notice anymore wheel spin? Appreciate input from those that have been there. Thank You All

See other post for 190 size tires. Few people like the 207 if you start riding it aggresively.

The 180 has the round profile the 200 does. THe 190 is alittle flater. Im sure every shop stocks the 180 and its cheaper too.

Whats your life worth? Mine is worth more to me than the cost of a tire.

I have personally never had a patch or plug fail. However as we all for the most part own 170 mph plus motorcycles I don't want to be the poster child for either the patch worked or the patched failed advertisement!!!

Thats my thoughts and motivation. And as a guy who on occasion rides with my buddies (Swft and Necromancer)practicing drafting at 180 plus m.p.h., I don't want to be worrying about their tire patch or plug either!

Hey Swft you keep slammin those Dunlops but we always run them at the track? Now you and I both know there is no waiting at the Bridgerock tire guys spot. In fact they might give you VIP status. Hell they would be excited to sell a set of tires for the weekend.

My opinion was, and still is, that the best choice for street riding is the BT010. Since I haven't tried a BT012, I can't really say how that would perform, but I bet it would be a better tire for track days. For racing, I've always preferred the dunlops. They are way easier to ride than the michelins, and most of all, they are *available* trackside.
