how does that change anything with the pipe???
unless theres some new way of lowering a bike im not aware of, it doesnt make the pipe closer to the signals

if you think theres a gap there, the slip on may not be slid all the way onto the stock pipe

The pipe looks like it may not be seated completely. Maybe that is an early Yosh pipe?
Maybe it was not for a ZX12? I don't know

The newer RS3's would still be close anyways. ( See my pics below )
You could do what I did, cut more of the flap down.
Then mount some aftermarket short stalks up close to the tail section.
Just an idea for you.
I had an RS3 at one point, here are a couple pics

the pipe is slid on all the way a took it off last nite the bike isnt lowered any more maybe this is the wrong pipe for the bike seems like the easiest way out is an under tail kit or some type of after market signal light the pipe has burnt a hole all the way through the signal light seem strange why they would make that pipe come so close to the signal

I had same problem w/my Akro. I just "turned" it a little bit when re-installing the can/baffle and that cured the problem...

Or you could put a set of front blinkers on the rear.
Thats what I did to keep the stock look and they plug into the loom so no cutting.

$50 bucks for the intergrated tail light kit, your stoplight becomes your turn signals, HDL is 100% correct, looks clean to.

or you can remove the spacer so it ends up looking like this,, will shave about an inch and tuck em in nicely!

And as you can see red is clearly the faster color! other wise i wouldnt need the stabilizer wing on the rear! LOL

although I love the flush undertail look, around here the CHP Nazi's pull you over & ticket you constantly for that stuff. It's just not worth the trouble to have to put it back stock, get it signed off, put the undertail back on, get another ticket, put it back stock, etc. etc. etc. ad naseaum...
