Isn't the 12R frame braced internally???
I was thinking that the bracing might totally screw up your 'capacity' of the swingarm, depending upon how they did it.

Either way, this guy has built air tanks out of swingarms before, maybe he knows aobut the nitrous capability. I would think it would cost a good chunk of money using the stock 12R swingarm.

If I had to guess, I would say the swingarm might hold 1lb of nitrous or co2.
THe only problem would be if the sides of the swingarm dont share common empty space.
I guess a way to test would be to cover up the threaded holes for the rear brakeline brace and try to fill the swingarm with compressed air.Maybe use a leakdown guage?

Being that nitrous oxide is high pressure (800~1050psi operating pressure) I doubt you could get a swingarm to hold that pressure. Most swingarms that are used for airshifters are low-pressure (125psi) applications.

I plan on doing the same for my 1361 this winter. It is a matter of safety. You never know when you will need to quickly get out of trouble!
