Well I only had 3 left over from my other tank, a major leak in it took care of most of them. Having a family with kids pretty much much dictates community tanks. That picture is so shitty it doesn't show any detail in the cabinet. I need a better camera.

Looks good Ted. I have a 55 gallon tank too and woke up this morning to find that I now have about 50 tiny new fish! About 3 weeks ago I bought a few more fish including 5 Convicts and I'll damned if one of em' wasn't pregnant. Well, she had the babies last night now there are a bunch of them swimming near the bottom, they can't be but 2-3mm in length. Funny stuff. THe problem is they may not last very long in there.

OTIS!!! Dude you need to protect them thar babies before they become a meal for ma. I had convicts and tons of babies in my old 55 and not one survived. As soon as they become tasty morcels they will be just that.

I will have to stop at the pet store and buy a maternity tank. Those little plastic tanks that hang on the side of the big tank. The problem Ted is they are SOOOO small that I will have a hell of time trying to gather them up. I'll give it a shot though.

Yeah, but if you can save a few it would be worthwhile. Alot of stores buy the babies or give you some credit.

Plants help...if the babies have a place to hide... I have had those plastic baby cages, but my babies where too small... they fell out through the holes that let the water flow through the baby cage!!
If you had a second aquarium you could try to move them.
Good luck.
Cool pix.
Fish_Antlers and myself are waiting to see if we move, before adding more fish to the tank.

The last picture in the album shows a bit more detail, still a bad picture.

WEll, I got home from work yesterday and there were none. None that I saw anyway. I have two pretty large cat fish and three sharks that prolly took care of them.
