New Gear......About time!
Well I picked up a pair of new gloves and ordered a new jacket.
The gloves are AGV Sports (carbon 7 pro) they fit GREAT and I have a better feel for the controls than ever. The Jacket is a Joe Rocket Blaster. It hasen't come in yet and I'm not even sure it will fit! It's the biggest size they have so we will see. My J/R meteor fits ok so I hope they are the same size. The meteor is a 3X but the blaster goes by chest size so I don't know it it will work, Oh well.
Does anybody else have a blaster? how are they?
Thanks,

Joe Rocket Blaster
I've got one and I love it. I got the red/black/white version. Looks good, feels great and I get lots of compliments on it. I bought it "off the rack". I saw it, tried it on, it fit, I bought it. So glad I did. I was wearing a Joe Rocket Meteor textile jacket for the last year or so and it was too big (I've lost weight) and the seams in the inside elbows were giving out. Keep your receipt in case you have a problem. There is a 1 year warranty.

I've got the Blaster jacket and pants. I've spent a lot of time in the jacket and like it a lot but it doesn't flow air nearly as well as my Phoenix. But the Phoenix doesn't offer near the protection of the Blaster. There are trade offs everywhere when you're trying to stay cool and be protected. It seems the only time I really notice the ventilation in anything I have is when it's cold or raining but I'm sure I'd notice it if it wasn't ventilated.
Good choice with the Blaster, it was my replacement to a torn up post fall Alpine Star P1 that cost twice the price and I think the protection is just as good.
FWIW,
Dave
