JUST INSTALLED..

BMC Race filters and my question is>> are they supposed to go in like a cassette,, these went in no problem,, versus the stockers i pulled out with channel locks,, im wondering if im getting a good enough seal? once sinched down with the 4 boths i know its sealed up top but what about everywhere else?
also there was a yellow line on one side of the element,, i faced that towards the front of the bike,, hope that was correct..

you can seal them with thick grease around the rubber edge if you arent sure. i think the yellow line goes towards the front, but im not sure, i have K&Ns in my bike (came that way) Im going to try out the BMC race filters to see if they make a diff later on....
