I Crashed going to Laguna Real bummer, crashed on Hiway 36 on monday on the way down to Laguna. Bike suffered alot of cosmetic damage. The Muzzy Ti canister would surely win any contest for worlds ugliest exhaust! At the Muzzy breakfast I think 1/2 of all the people there photo'd it!
We got the bike ridable and I rode another 1100 miles by Sunday morning. By then my right arm and shoulder were having some painful moments, so I left the bike at a friends in Sacramento and flew home. I went to the Dr. yesterday and after an x-ray session that was almost as painful as the crash I was told I have one broken rib and a broken shoulder blade. No work for the next 6-8 weeks. Gives me time to get the bike back together!
We stayed at Dino's on the way down, on saturday nite. Let me tell you Dino is one heck of a host. His hospitality was nothing short of the best, as is his family. I thank Dino for his hospitality and hope to make it to his place next year for Laguna 2002! I am already planning on 2 weeks vacation next year Dino, so-- make some more room in the support vehicle, I'll be there!
Now I need to find some parts.
I need a right lower, a front wheel, front fender. If anyone has any of these email me at zzx175@msn.com.

I checked and it appears that my green fender was put on Necromancers 12 after the encounter with the deer!
Glad to see you made it home. And it was nice to meet you at the breakfast!!

Good luck on recovery, and good luck finding the parts you need. I'm still searching for a fender, upper cowl and clutch cover myself!

Ozzy is a true boyscout. We talked at the Muzzy breakfast at Laguna on Saturday. He told me that one of the items he had to fix in order to continue is trip was a handle bar. And he just so happen to have brought a spare one with him!!
That is prepared!!

Thanks for the best wishes, appreciate them for sure
Dino, it was about 5 miles WEST of the intersection of 36 and 3.
We just got home from the retrieval trip to Sacramento (1800 miles) to pick up my bike. Dam the trip sucked worse than the crash almost,LOL.
Hiway 395 North from John Day Oregon is now on my list of roads to ride. It is a really nice road, twisty for the most of 80 miles or so. It follows the rivers and creeks in the area, 3000 elevation changes, either your going uphill, or downhill.
Where is a good site to post a picture? I have a pic of "The Worlds UGLIEST Muzzy" for you guys and gals to laugh at

Ozzy, you were kinda scary in person, (this time - first being when Fish + I met you at the Seattle Motorcycle show).... purple is NOT your colour!
