You mean your slippers, Cinderella?
No, not really. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know I was supposed to! Like I said back in May, I'm not going to be able to attend due to fact that I'll be in the middle of our "political season" (busiest time for us - every two years for about six months). To be honest with you, I really don't know if I'll have time.
There's still a chance, since it's what... seven weeks away? It's just too hard to tell and I'd say the odds are slim. It's not only coming up with something in the way of a design. That's the easy part. It's getting it through production. In the past, they had time for a "freebie" to be squeezed into the schedule.
The thing is, since the production schedule is so tight, the "higher ups" would kinda frown on me running a freebie through. They didn't mind too much when it was for "my vaction" since prior to first DG, I hadn't taken a vaction in seven years. It was equally accepted for DGII & DGIII. The production department wasn't swamped during any of those times.
Since I'm not going, they might want to treat this one as a "regular" job and expect some form of payment. You don't want to go there. The street value of the DGIII decals were over $220. The DGII would have been around $170, since they were not die-cut into a circle shape. Even with the "ad agency discount", it would have been $187 and $144.50 and you wouldn't even want to know what the original DGI decals cost!
And ya'll though they were just dumb ole stickers that weren't worth nothin'!

Sherman,
If I thought they were "dumb ole stickers and not worth nothing" I wouldn't have mine right up there with my Daytona Harley beer, Susan B. Anthony dollars and Billy Carter beer.
Besides a high tech, state of the art alarm system....my attack cat keeps her keen eyes on my prized possesions.
Seriously, I doubt any of us knows how much time, trouble and expense you have been through helping for the great cause.......The Deals Gap Getogethers!!!!! Thanks again and I'm sorry you can't make the next one, you will be missed.

 I'm honored!
Geez, in a way, they ARE kinda "dumb ole stickers", but I guess that comes from me being around them all the time. You could say that it would be like calling a lower fairing a "dumb ole piece of plastic"... which it is. That is until you price one.
As for stuff like the name tags, they are more of a "hassle" then an "expense". That partly due to the type of graphics software used to put the names with the artwork. I had to resize some of the longer screen names so they would fit (i.e. DaveInDaytona vs. Red Elk), but still be the same height and not look too distorted.
Putting them on heavy photo paper was nice for DGIII (and a tad more costly at a buck a sheet), but they would have been even better if I had got the SIZE RIGHT! DUH!
All the same, thank you for the compliments and appreciation. Now, is there any one of the DG decals "missing" from your collection? You have BOTH the green and the red versions of the LABusas DG decals from the first event? The GAP2? Just checkin'.
If you don't, e-mail me. I think I have a few from each event laying around. The rest of you don't be getting any ideas about trying to get some of the old ones for yourselves! old kawboy has no only put out more effort on all of these events than almost anybody else (not counting Melissa, of course), but he's also a "client" of mine. I did the decals for his 200+ mph 12R.
Yeah, I regret not being able to come... VERY MUCH! Not only will I miss seeing ya'll, but I'll be missin' another chance to show that "slipper wearin' cabin boy" my tail light!

O Boy
Sherm,
The only thng that's dumb is you (just kidding), we are all very upset that our fearless leader Sherm "Watch me back it in, and late break ya!" Redelk is not going to be in attendence. We however have come up with a plan, It will involve the following but is not limited too.
1) Utilizing space tech. and with full cooperation from NORAD. Their number one spy satalite to track your every move.
2) Special inplant with both video and audio transmitters that will allow us to experience a day in the life of.
(Note it will be shut down during any and all bathroom breaks)
3) Tele Conferencing that will allow you to think you are with us (except in the corner's where you can't keep up).
We have provided the following as a means to keep you in touch with your friends.
Sincerely,
Bart

Well doing those took about a total of 2 minutes but being stuck in a hotel in Maine does get boring and gives me a little time to do stupid stuff.
I appreciate the cabin offer but I don't think I'll be there. Hope you all have fun and stay safe.
