Hey Wilson!
Good to hear from you, man! We were thinking of you today at Laguna Seca. I hope to see you out there on your new ride for '03. Sounds like the rehab is going pretty good, and we are all pulling for you! Question - You gonna get one of those titanium prosthetics?

Incredible... Met Wilson in Rehab on Friday. They'd just moved him into a wheelchair. He had already made his mind up to buy a new 03 model, and was hoping he could get the black one. He's already ordered one here.
He was in considerable pain still, but was determined not to let losing his leg prevent him from giving up motorcycling. Man! What a fighter - I know I for sure would have given up motorcycling if I were in his position. Even if I did'nt, my family members would!
I think he would like to hear from you guys. Give him a buzz at his rehab, I think it would alleviate his suffering tremendously.

Glad yer back WILSON So glad your able to visit...
I've said it before...the ONLY thing I "hate" about the boards is...
Hearing about PEOPLE going shiny side down...
There's a guy that Drag Races a bike here in Fl. that lost his right arm.
Within a year...he alterd his bike (and self)...throttle on left...front brake lever (more like paddle now) attached down by right knee...his "racing attachment" has clamping jaws...that look strong enough to remove lugnuts off a freakin car!!! clamps it to the aluminum hand grip...
ANYWAY...Where there's a will...there's a way...

glad I admire yor courage man, can only imagine how much it takes to make it through something like this. I wonder if you could send the prosthetic to Hans and have a carbon one made ;-). Hrm.... Glad to see you are recovering.
