Holy crap, that's one wild pic. Sure makes you want to stay in a full tuck at speed, doesn't it? Imagine if that had been his faceshield instead of his headlight!

Man that poor Owl.........

I know the dude on the R1 had to be rollin' pretty good. I bet it gave him a good scare. I know I'd have had to pulled over and discarded the BVDs.

You should see a goose

After it goes through the leading edge of an F-111.Mush with feathers is all that is left.It causes a lot of damage to the acft. too.

I had a bird strike just above my visor at Maxton at 160+. It was quite a slap even though it was a glanceing blow, knocked my head back pretty hard. Scary.

I got a pigeon directly in the faceshield at about 70 mph. The bird exploded..... literally. Nothing left but blood, guts, and feathers.
Damn glad I was wearing a full face helmet.
