5 months on the '00 12

I've had my 12 now 5 months.
Clocked up 7000 miles here in the UK.

I've had the following go wrong and then replaced at big K's expense:

1) Blew my rad fan switch, necessitating a new replacement.
The bike was overheating if I idled too long.

2) I have had the whole exhaust section from the headers to the muffler replaced because of "rust" along the seam weld of the large diameter pipe that feeds into the muffler. I have noticed this on almost all the stock exhausts except that the rate at which is was acculmulating on my bike seemed to be pretty quick.

Recently I had problem number three which is presently why the bike is with the dealer again:

3) Backing off from a long stretch of 190+mph (indicated) riding a few days ago with Ninjamissile on a roadtrip, the FI light on the console came on. I pulled over and the bike was mis-firing badly.

Cut a long story short, I limped up to the strip, watched Ninjamissile make some passes at the flyer, and then limped home running on what felt like 3 cylinders. Pulled the self-diagnostic tool and got an error code 53. Blown ignitor on #3 cylinder. Made sense although I thought I might have had a TPS sensor failure because the bike seemed to dislike hard acceleration, while cruising appeared to be OK.

Anyone had a similar catalog of failures on their bike in a similar time period?

I seem to be toasting bits of the bike, yet the UK isn't exactly the hottest region of the globe which 12's inhabit.

Out of interest, I also notice that on the stock exhaust system, the titanium has turned blue right under the tip of the can near the exit from the cat. That seems to be a REAL hot spot on the can.

Thanks for any comments.

I've got 2 12's, one with 37k, and another with 10k, both 2000 models. Apart from the rust on the exhaust pipe (both), and the poorly sealed airbox (1), I haven't had any problems out of either.
