HELP! 22348bCVC CRASHED ON WAY TO LAGUNA!
Fish just called. 22348bCVC crashed while they were riding to Laguna.
First, 22348bCVC is completely alright. A testament to full riding gear.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND WHAT THEY NEED HELP ON...
Right now, 22348bCVC desperately needs the following three parts for his '00 12R.
35063-1062 STAY,FR,LH
This is the left front "V"-shaped bracket that holds the footpeg.
35063-1058 STAY
This is the "L" bracket that is between the engine and the radiator on the lower left side.
39061-1273 RADIATOR-ASSY
This is the radiator itself.
If ANYONE could bring them to Laguna, they will GLADLY pay for them. If not, he will need transport help.

Shit man, I just left him a voicemail message yesterday...doh! Glad to hear he's ok.
If he can't get the parts and needs transport help back down here, let me know. I'll be out of class at 4ish on Saturday, and I have Sunday off, so I could meet him (or someone else) halfway with my truck and ramp and haul his ass home. Not exactly how I was hoping to finally meet him in person, but I'll be happy to help.
Please relay the message, and I'll try to lob him a call in the next 24 hours or so.

Not up on all the details yet
They are Fortuna (sp?) right now. I have no idea on how to get a hold of them or anything, but I will try my best to keep everyone posted.

A little more info
Fish is trying to get a hold of some guy named Mason at Monterey Powersports right now.
If they can get the peg bracket and the radiator, the bike would be "ridable". If not, they will have to figure out a way to get it back to Oceanside. The actual damage is probably over $3K and they have not finished assessing the damage yet. Nano lowsided in a 10 MPH "button hook" (fish's discription) curve.
If anyone wishes to e-mail me their phone number, I will get it to Fish when he calls back. If and when he does. As soon as I find out how anyone can get in touch with them, I'll post it.

I'm piggybacking on nano's camping pass.
I have not heard from him.
I just left a message on his cell phone.
Wonder if he wants me to do anything from this side of things before I leave at 7AM tom. morning...

I haven't heard back from them yet
It's almost 8 pm CDT here and I'm not going to be here at work all night. Still, as soon as I hear something, I'll post it. In the mean time, all I can suggest is that anyone that has any of their cell numbers just keep trying to reach them.
Again, Nano is fine and was not hurt.

here's a thought. i they cant get any parts locally or shipped to them asap, i can jsut rip the parts he needs from my biek & courier it down overnight. since it's not too far, i imagine they should be able to get it there by tomorrow morn. but i'd have to know asap to get it shipped out as soon as possible.

Sorry to hear about the bail; glad to hear he's ok.
I'm NOT going to Laguna, but I'm only about 2 hours (non-commute time) North of Laguna in the Bay Area. I also offer the parts off my bike if you guys can't come up with a better solution. Maybe someone from up North is headed that way? I'm on the way to the track for anyone traversing the Eastbay Oakland area...

update
I talked to Nano.
His bike is f'ed up and in the back of the support vehicle until he hits Laguna, where I am sure he will try to fix it. If that does not happen, I got him a ride for his bike back to SD.
Thanks for all the help.
Oh yeah, Nano says that leathers and armor are good to have.

damn, posted almost at the same time! thx fer the update. real sorry to hear about it. glad he's ok and has a support truck, but he just lost a few days of beautiful roads  nano most certainly did not deserve this. i'm very surprised too, as he was rather conservative last year. just one of those flukes i guess.
hope yall get the bike back together wo problems at laguna.

Best thing to do is find a welding shop and have them patch it up if there are no new parts to be found.
