do i need a bonneville box with an extended ecu?

If i get my ECU extended the 600 rpms does it put the rev limit higher in 6th as well (more than 600 rpms in 6th) does it make the ecu rev to the same thing in every gear, or will i still need a bonneville box to get the full rpm range out of 6th?
(01 12r)
thx!

The extended ECU has a faster timing crystal that changes the CPU speed to 105% normal. So your 11,600 redline is extended to 12,180 or an increase of 580 rpm. But because this timebase change is system wide it also changes the speed limit timing which is actually an RPM limit of your rear wheel.

186mph x 1.05 = 195.3 mph

At your new extended RPM of 12,180 in 6th with stock 18/46 sprockets your rear wheel would be doing turns for 211 mph.

So the answer is yes, you still need a bonneville box.
