Congrats Ali !!!!!
He is the fastest 1200cc Nos bike at the Texas Mile! (Whipped up on my old record of 195.74). Ali may also be the overall Fastest ZX-12 at the Texas Mile as well. There was a 1317 that was spraying, but I am not sure what he ran.

Haha, thanks guys. Yep, I brought the 50 shot and 60 shot just in case (and some race gas which I never even uncovered let alone opened.
Ended up running the bike on PUMP 93 octane from the Shell across from Whataburger and my usual 40 shot (2 x 24 jets) which I think is about 38 but not sure really. Dynoed 4 different times on 3 different dynos and saw 201 RWHP intially, same shop then saw 214.69 at a dyno shootout (probably inflated numbers), another shootout saw 219 (same thing, probably inflated) and last an honest dyno shop saw 201 again. I'm begining to think the shot I'm running isn't quite a 40 shot but its ok, it was fun.
Ran 3 back to back 196.8 mph passes....then a 198.5......
Finally my bottle pressure was good and sprayed from end of 2nd thru the traps instead of beginning of 4th. It should be noted that at Maxton I ususally spray 3rd on and at the strip 2nd on so spraying early wasn't a problem for me, I just didn't want to run out of nitrous at the trap when I needed it most.
Had time for one more pass but seeing as to how I drove w/the dog 1550 miles each way and only slept about 3 or so hours each time....I was pretty tired. Besides, why pop it on the bigger shot if I already got into the 2 club and got the EPA class record?
I had a great time, it was a team effort no way around it. Entropy helped out, loaned me his rear stand since I forgot the stand at home like an idiot. Mike & I were comparing notes on psi how much spike we were getting while staged in pits, even hooked him up with a gauge when his went south. Buddy told me stop bsing and spray from 2nd, that helped because you only have 1 mile to get it done.
I'm glad I kept stalling on bigger jets ... I guess its a little more bragging rights when its on pump gas and a dinky 40 shot that may not even really be a 40? Then again, the weight helps!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. And even with that speed put up, I know that the 12 still has more in it, even as it stands. I'm not perfect and I've been trying to work at improving my riding rather than just reducing weight overall. Rider is the biggest variable. Things happen so quickly with a zx12 (or any bike of this caliber) its easy to make mistakes that add up big instead of wringing out little 600s, although you can learn a lot on the smaller bikes...hmmm....maybe pick up a smaller bike to mess around with again? Being small is good, but you still gotta put together a good run regardless.
What else is left ... gotta go 200 at the 9/10 now...maybe El Mirage one day? El Mirage seems harder than any LSR venue in a way...and who wants their bike "dirty" literally? LOL. One day maybe.

I ran my ZX-11 180 on the dirt in '97. I NEVER got it clean again. The salt washes off, the dirt stains. But it WAS fun.
