05 ZX-12 ECUs...can they be rev extended

600 rpms like the 16 bit ecus on the earlier one? Asking for Dr. Ryan Scarsella since he can't post right now.

Thanks, and you are correct what I did only works up through the B2 model.

To be clear, I found the map values that allow you to set at what RPM the injectors cut out and the coils turn off. (They turn off at different RPMs) I also found a map 'switch' that allows you to turn off the rev limit checking all together and was able to run the ECU up to 15,000 RPMs, the limit of my bench test equipment with the switch off.

But, in my opinion, the design limits of the ECU in no way implies what the real mechanical limits of the actual engine are.

Has anyone here had a stock (piped/PC) bike on the dyno? Is the raised RPM useful. My bike made peak HP at redline (11500-11600). Makes me wonder if going up a couple hundred RPM would help at the track, like to hold a gear thru the traps instead of shifting right before it.

yes when I had my bike extended by 640 rpms I hit 200mph on the dyno still accelerating with a lot to go. 17/44 gearing. I have since extended it to 1000 more rpms so we shall see..
