That's a darned good question....I have the same bike and would love to know if the setup on the '04-05 models would fit on a '00. I did buy the Muzzy fan to replace the stock plastic.

Oh if i am not wrong, 02-05 radiators with 2 fans will fit into 00-01 models, what i meant is that i would get another extra 00-01 fan to fix into the present one fan system. But i wonder if there is enough space to fix in 2 sets of 00-01 fans.which are bigger than the 02-05 ones.

No, I do not think it will work either way without modification to the radiator or brackets.

TRN is right. I had an 01 and an 05 radiator and the mounting brackets on top were different. A good radiator shop could probably modify the brackets on the 05 to work on the 00. The rest of the radiator seemed pretty much the same but I don't have them anymore so can't check for certain.

Yep, Buddy hit the nail on the head, you can move those radiator brackets back so the radiator goes forward to give a little more room from the header and motor mount brackets, plus a thinner aftermarket fan never hurts too much......................................but the down side is a little trimming on the inside of the fairing plus some possible extra rubbing of lowering straps for the drags, all kind of depends.

No space at all, unless you move the radiator forward............... Or put it on the front side, I have seen it done, but it looks ugly!

i see so i assume the best method is to change to 02-05 fans? if the radiator size of 00-01 same as 02-05?

The upper motor mount brackets are different on an 02-05 which allows for a little more room for the dual fan. Also the motor mounts on the head are different as well so you can not just pick up the 02-05 brackets.
I do beleive he is looking for a little extra cooling in traffic.

extra cooling in traffic can be accomplished by adding an oil cooler not additional fans, I already tried additional fans didnt work..

the oil cooler on the zx12r is a tiny hole behind the oil filter... It doesn't cool anything while the bike is stationary.. I experienced this in Las Vegas with 100 degree weather.. I added an additional push fan on the radiator and it didn't to squat.. The remedy is adding a zx11 sized oil cooler under the radiator.. The first line of defense for engine heat is oil the second is the water and coolant..
