Back from vacation, a few pictures.

HI guys, back from a weeks vacation. Had a great time, the weather was excellent, rained only one night. Went to the beach a few days, hung out and read books and took naps. It was a very relaxing time, except for the crash, but that's another thread.
This is our cottage up north near Cadillac Michigan

Here is my baby girl at the beach her 1st time.

Here she is in the pool with mama.

One more, I love this one cause she's checking out her own feet.

Mama and baby on the hammock.

Freek, it's a family place, we've owned it for years. Nice 4 bedroom, 2500sq/ft modular. Had the Florida room built 4 years ago and the nice big garage. And we built the deck ourselves 3 years ago. It sits on 20 acres and the backyard butts right up against the Manistee Forest. It's a beautiful place.

2500sqft?!? cottage my ass!
seriously tho, thatsa helluva nice place. the 20 acres is what does it for me. i'v always been a huge fan of big properties. i like the idea of being able to throw a big outdoor party without disturbing my neighbours, and vice versa. that, and having enough room to build ur own motocross/snowmobile trails buddy of mine has 10 acres, most of which is fairly steep. he pushed a road up to the top of his property (definitely a 4x4 road), and in winter he'll ride his kids up to the top on the snowmobile, then they ski down. what a blast! but the coolest thing is he has a big enough stream on the property that he can make most of his power and have enough high pressure water to sprinkle his rather large lawn(s) and garden, plus tons in reserve for fire fighting should the need arise. 400 vertical feet of head baybee!

Right out the back yard there is a trail that hooks up to the 250 mile trail system in the forest. 250 miles of incredible trails including all you could want to ride or snowmobile on. The only problem is that back in the 80's when I used to ride dirtbikes I was always with my brother who knows the area and when snowmobiling I was always with him. So if I get too far back there myself I can get lost poretty easily.
