Hurricane 600 Couldn't Keep Up In Nova Scotia!

Well we had a blast in Nova Scotia! Took my 12 and my friends had a 01 ZX9R, a 00 Busa, and a 88 Hurricane 600. We were exploiting the power on tap quite a bit and my friend Jim was having a tough time on the 600. He road raced at the national level so in the corners he was hard to beat, but pour on the power and GONE! He wrang it out for all it was worth but on the fifth day he thinks he dropped a valve or two on a pass. When he pulled along side to tell us it had lost power I noticed it was on fire! We were in the middle of nowhere so he pulled over and frantically pulled his tank and tail bags off while we watched it become one with the atmosphere! Not good 800 miles from home. After it melted into the ground we paid some dude to haul it away and some nice people drove Jim 80 miles to the nearest rental car place. He followed us home and I can tell you Grand Am's are speed limited to 120 mph. It got a thorough top speed test!

those are a couple cool pictures! almost worth the price of the bike (and the rental) to get that shot & the story that goes along with it.
