Some MORE injection map questions :)

Hey guys....

I'm still screwing around with my 2000's PC-IIIr and I'm having mixed results. Right now, I've got the Muzzy racing map downloaded to the PC-IIIr (from www.zx-12r.org). The map has decent power, but it backfires a lot when I'm driving hard. I'm trying to get better results and I've got a few questions:

1. Anyone know of, or HAVE a good DJ-250 in the north new jersey area (I'm in West Milford)? A good tuner to go with that DJ is a plus...

2. Should I use Cliff's suggested flat spot removers on the Muzzy Racing map? I'm a bit concerned that the extra gas that Cliff's smooth map adds may foul up my spark plugs on non-agressive drive days (when I'm forced to drive with my cruiser buds ). Has spark fouling been a problem for anyone using Cliff's +45 addition suggestions?

3. Should I just bag this PC-IIIr and wait for Swft to master the Muzzy ECU?

4. Anyone have a SUPER well tuned map for power/drivability for a 2000 '12 with Muzzy exhaust (full), K&N filters, and no klean air?

THanks guys! I can be reached via e-mail at dethpulse@hotmail.com. Wow... look at the TIME - its BEAUTIFUL outside... time to GO RIDE!!!

I've had Cliff's 2000rpm-3000rpm settings for a year now with no problems. I'm really happy with the results in that range!

There is no such thing as a "Muzzy racing map" ande I have no idea what map is being represented as such. There are only maps that we issue for the best results with the pipe as they are developed. There would be no difference between a proper map for racing or street. Email me and I will send you our latest version for the 2000/2001.

ACK! Sorry Doug. I think that the map is meant to mean Race Map for someone with a Muzzy Pipe . It's on www.zx-12r.org. I hope nobody mis-understood me. I took it to mean that map was a race map for people with Muzzy pipes . Can you e-mail me the latest muzzy map for someone with a Muzzy exhaust, no kleen air and K&N filters? I have the PC-IIIr, so I'm looking for timing advances as well. My e-mail is dethpulse@hotmail.com. Thanks Doug - sorry for the confusion .

map

I have a map done on a dj250 with realtime, load etc for a 2000 zx12 with akro evo,k&n's, kleen removed and pciiir. It hunts a bit on tickover but i like it fine that way. It has 3 degrees advance from 5000 up on 80/100% throttle. If you want a copy leave email address. I'm in UK.

B,

I have a similar set up with Akra, K&N's, PCIIIr, Kleen air removed, Marvics etc etc. I would be interested in seeing your map, I can send you mine also for the sake of comparison. sleigh24@attbi.com.
