Brembo Brakes going on the 12
Stoped by MVR Racing's (Mike Velasco) shop tonight. My 12 is on the lift being prepped for the 1361 motor to go in it. While waiting for the crank, Mike has started installing my Brembo GP Calipers, and new Brembo master. Mike had to fabricate the special brackets to mate up the Brembos to the 12's forks. Brembos with my Wave rotors!!
The Brembos should out stop the stock calipers and they are of course lighter! I will try to post some pictures next week.

Brembo brakes on 12
I'm in the process of fitting brembo's onto my 12, but I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and am fitting a complete Ducati 998 front end as I couldn't get on with the Kwak suspension !

If things go according to plan my 12 will back together late next week. Engine, brakes etc. I will take pictures and have Swft show me how to post them.
The adaptor plates for the brembos are custom made, but they are being made on an NC machine so the machinist can reproduce them. A Duc front end on a 12 would be pretty cool, but seems like a lot of work!!
Frank knows both Swft and I. But tight wad Swft didn't make the Daytona trip with us. Frank is the man for getting good prices and very hard to get bikes. R7's etc. I don't know how it workswith the Canadian side of his business, but here in the states he has been unbeatable. Alot of the dealers here use him as a source for product as well.
Look forward to seeing you all at Laguna hopefully.
