Extended Rev limiter testing, stage 2.
Same gearing, same everything (17/46) except I threw on the stock ecu on it...wrung it out in 4th on the limiter, rolled off and touched it again quickly....then off for good.
GPS said 155.
So the extended ecu we now know is good for 8 mph with 17/46 gearing in 4th. Testing remains to be seen in the higher gears although there was enough room today for 5th for SURE

I trhink 18/46 is good for 201.875 mph
so 17/46 is good for 190?

I think you're thinking theoretical. Not sure in reality how it works. Never known anyone to hit 200 mph stock ecu and gearing...yet.
A more real world "196" is what most can expect out of 18/46....of course there are minor differences in each ecu, even 100 RPM could make a BIG difference (a couple mph or so)....as do tires, clutch slip, etc.
When I ran naked I ran 188.86 with 17/45 gearing....had a little more left in it....maybe 11.9 or 12k indicated at the traps...? Can't remember now, dammit! I remember it was enough that I figured if I went 17/46 I would have hit the rev limiter before the traps....no good either on the button!
Then again Shane aka Warp12's bike went 17/46 ... 189 mph on the rev limiter @ Maxton...? He may be able to correct me on the gearing but I think thats what it was.
More testing will come ....
