Top speed of only 159 ~and probably taking a good amount of time to get to that speed~....wouldnt be hard to leave in the dust 
A more worthy opponent than the crown vic thats for sure.
not that ive ever evaded a police officer or anything :/

I've seen the unmarked IL ones BFLY, both Camaros and Mustangs in common colors. We have those too, I just can't tell which ones they are !

Here in WA...I've seen a lot of new white Volvo station wagons...supposedly turbos underneath the hood...there unmarked and I've seen them pull bikes over between Colfax and Spokane.

Yeah - but then they'd have to do real work, see? It's far easier for a fat donut muchin' cop to dish out a speeding ticket to somebody minding his own business on a deserted road than catch some real law breakers! Or bored meter-maids who love to write out no-brainer tickets.
I respect the cops who risk their lives daily catching such real criminals so the world may be a safer place, and have only scorn for those who feel proud & justified in writing a ticket for some poor sod who's only weakness is to go faster than the speed limit on a deserted road/highway.

FHP Z28 stands no chance
I just heard about a guy who on his gsxr 1000 was clocked roughly at 105 by a FHP heading the other way on I-75. He was clocked right after one of the breaks in the guardrail that they use to turn around. Needless to say 8 miles later no Z28. Gotta love those guard rails on the interstate. Supposedly this guy was on his way to trade in his gixx for a zx12. Imagine that

...here in Indy have the plain jane looking z28's too and thier new trick is to have one pulled over by a fully marked cop car on the side of the freeway. I mean it looks real and so everyone thinks that he is busy and keeps boogieing on by only to see the copper in the z28 holding his radar gun out the window. They make it look good too. You know marked car is slanted a little, with his tires turned just a bit and everything. I think that this is intrapment! don't you?!!

c'mon pat, they cost just about the same as a vic, but they're faster and sexier...chics dig it...and you'd want to be seen in one if you were a cop...its the right tool for the right job...I hear S.Carolina has BMW M5s...yeah babeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

c'mon fv, you know cameros fit only the young and the beautiful types...fat donut munchin' cops with their equipment ladened 'tool belt' can only fantasize about fitting in one of those sexy cameros and catching all the chics ...step out from one of these in your fancy and tight pants like the ponch used to wear and you'll have all the women swoonin' and throwin' their panties atcha'!..how way cool is that?

The ONLY thing I miss about being a Motorcycle cop is the woman approaching me asking to take a picture with me, to sit on the bike, take me for a ride!!!...One of the lovely woman even asked if she could wear my boots!!!
Never thought that being in Highway Patrol would give me movie star status!!!

hehe that cop had knee sliders....does he take that bike to the track?
oh....i'd have to wonder though, the moral implications of being a biker and riding a r1 as a cop and pulling other bikers over (unless they were squidin, i don't think id have problem writing someone a ticket for wearing shorts, sandals and wifebeater at 120mph on rear wheel on the interstate)
only question where does he keep his ticket clipboard?

..the same moral implications as a cop in the camero or mustang...NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL...hee hee hee ...man, that's a cool pic...no clip board needed...just swipe the license on a reader, print, sign, "have a nice day"...and off you go ...
