Anodizing
Since the bike is apart, I'm having the swingarm and the stock rims anodized. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Larry,
Be aware that the different forms of the aluminum in the swingarm (extrusion, sand casting, machined)will "take" the anodizing very differently. You won't get a single "shade" of any color except maybe black. I wouldn't do it. I would(and have)powdercoat. Same hold true with the wheels. The gold you see on "real" magnesium race wheels isn't anodizing. It is a corrosion resistant dip called "alodine". We painted the Marchesninis and Marvics on teh Raptor because the anodizing wouldn't look good or be as durable.

Thanks for the info, Doug. I'm getting the swingarm powdercoated this week, based on that.
