Question about Exhaust Hanger Brackets ??

Alright...the foot peg on the left side of the 12 is easy to come off, but the right one holds up the exhaust. I want to lose it, and just replace it with some type of extension arm that bolts right into place.

The only ones I have seen are on Two Brothers Racing website at:

http://www.twobros.com/TBR_Website_NEW/Products/Exhaust_Brackets/Exh_Brkts.htm

I just added the link so everyone knew exactly what I was talking about here. You can see they dont list the 12 as an available model.

Where can I get these for the 12? Muzzys has exhaust hangers, but they arent the same thing as these...there just the rings that wrap around the exhaust. I want the piece that can replace the foot peg alltogether.

I have a zx-9 titanium exhaust hangar from lockhart philips on my 2000 12r.
I have the yosh duplex race pipe and have the spacers removed from the turn signals.
You need a 5/8" spacer with this setup.

I have the ti hangor for the ZX12 from Lockhart. I also have the carbon fiber hangor from Lockhart. The ti unit looks better and is lighter.

I've looked at Lockhart Phillips's website and I see the carbon fiber hanger, but there isnt one for the 12.

And I dont see the TI one at all?

Is your CF one meant for the 12? If so, is it for sale? Or where is the TI one on LP's website?

I ordered both hangers from my favorite Honda dealer. The hangors are both listed for the ZX12R Kawasaki. The carbon hanger was in stock and the ti hangor took a couple of weeks.

If needed call Lockhart direct. Or call Brothers Honda in Bremerton, WA ask for Mike Barrs in parts and he will hook you up.

Thanks for the info!

If its not too much to ask, could you please post a pic of your bike showing the bracket on it?

And what did you replace the holes left behind after you took the left foot peg off?

beansbaxter, I found some rubber plugs at an Autozone that fit perfect to plug the unused left holes. I'll post the part numbers later if you want.

My 12 is apart for about two more weeks. Getting the 1361 treatment. I will try a post some pics after it is back together.

I bought some really simple plastic plugs for the bolt hole on the left side. The plugs are similar to the one on the right side handlebar control unit that comes with a factory plug in it.The local hardware store bolt selection area carries about 20 different sizes, they come in black, gray and white. Black is of course the ticket.

LP hanger

I have a carbon LP hanger, and I like the look....but the pipe sure does move a lot. If I had the choice, I would buy a Ti one or get Dino to build you one of his custom ones. Best looking one I have seen personally is the Dino hanger!

I found that on the Muzzy Ti pipe I addded an additional exhaust spring and the movement pretty much ceased!

Dino, did I get on your list? When I emailed you awhile back the computer went nuts when I hit the send button, didn't know if you ever got the mail or not, Phil.
