supra5677,

ECU is 21175-1088 also has the numbers 112100-1290 and tbcf13u

Im assuming this makes sense to you, the shop took the numbers down for me while it was apart,

While carrying out the work the battery was found to be dead and turned out to be a cell down, so since the dyno run above it has had new oil and filter, plugs, Pipercross filters, Akrapovic stainless race system with CF race can, Braided brake lines, PC3usb & Battery! My wallet is now significantly lighter!!

The Pc came with an appropriate map, the only info i have at the moment is that it says "modded" in pen on the box and the number 250 or 256 hard to tell with the handwriting!!
I am very much looking forward to climbing aboard and giving it a go...just need the rain to stop, which im hoping it will do this weekend...

One thing i noticed in the shop when it was started up yesterday was the downpipe on #2 was glowing! the rest were not, it was checked to see if there were any intake leaks but none were found, it didnt do this on the original pipe. any ideas anyone? Should i just have a good look at the map before giving it a go?

ya the dyno graph makes good sense to me..

Question what country do you live in?

2. The dyno graph shows the bike to be excessively lean under 3,500 rpm. pretty normal looking box stock zx12r...

I would check the hacking the planet thread before I start modding the bike.... 157 SAE at 9800 is standard..

Cam timing gives more power too 105/105 is over 190 pounds, 105/108 if under 190 pounds.. what are your plans for the bike..

That is a mammoth of a thread!!

Looks like i went and bought in a little too early, Still, The PC is fitted now so will just make the best of it..

Intention originally was to get a genuine 200mph on my own bike, That may change to something of a more competitive nature although this would be a very occasional thing as there is nowhere reasonably local to make it a regular habit.

still no chance for a test ride, has'nt stopped raining yet! hopefully this saturday will be dry and i can take it back to the dyno for a camparison

Hi Guys!
Im back at last!!

Spinal surgery, loss of job loss of accommodation and the everlasting wet weather have all ganged up on me to prevent the enjoyment of my 12,
One new job and pending house purchase later, my back is as good as its going to get, the sun comes out and the 12 calls to me...

Just been for a quick spin to get used to it all again, Oh how i missed that feeling the last few months...

Important thing is im back in the saddle......The saddle of a 12!

Normal Nagging for Tips / Mods / Maps / Do's n' Don'ts to resume shortly.. !

Have just dropped the bike off at a local shop for mot and oil, filter & plug change with an intake clean And will give it a good go before proceeding any further,

Bike is not restricted on hp just top speed at the moment.

Decided to support my local shop rather than go for the glossy mail order giant route but they are having problems getting suppliers for Akra systems, seems the big mail order groups have made some sort of exclusive deal in the uk! Same goes for the BMC filters.. They are having to source new suppliers as most say they are no longer available in the uk, but im sure i found a set of the race versions online for £68 but i didnt save the link and cant find it again...so if anyone knows of a UK supplier let me know!!

Also does the ignition module connect direct to the PC or do you need the hub?

Cheers again guys,

Grunter, I got my Akra, BMC's & PC from these guy's
http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/
Got the Akra with the removable baffle.

Its been fitted with PC3usb, The Akra race system and CF "squashed pentagon" race can & Pipercross Filters. When i took it back to the dyno it showed 163.7bhp,

The map on the Pc3 was supplied as
2002-2003 Kawasaki zx12-R European Model
Akrapovic racing full exhaust
Stock or aftermarket air filter.

Is this the correct base map for an early B Model or for the Late A's?
Is there a more suitable map to download?

I had about 163 bhp with the generic map, went up to 170 with a custom map!
