ZX12Girl's Surgery update

Ken just called and Angi came out of surgery just fine. She could possibly even be home by Sat. or Sun., depending on how quickly she recovers. He said she had to have her time slip so he called today and they didn't have the actual paper timeslip but they had it on record. Her 60 ft was a 1.45. He said that put a smile on her face. Ken printed out the board for her to read. He apologizes that he didn't have time to respond to anybody. But he said that she enjoyed reading it and appreciates everyone's support.

Ken gave me the number to her hospital room. He said I could post it for anyone who wanted to call her but PLEASE don't call her before TOMORROW AFTERNOON. She's at Battle Creek Heath Systems Hospital, Room 2105, Bed 1: (616)964-5205.

No Kidding! Ken said Her reaction was in the low .50's also. What a shame! That would have been Angi's 8 sec run. DAMN!!!!

She's in good

spirits and ready to leave the hosptial today!! A bit "cranky" The surgery involved putting a rod and screws to hold the femur together.
Already talking about what its gonna take to fix that Bus up.She is disappointed that she didn't get that 8 sec pass on that run I talked to her about a wheelie bar and she said " So I can bend the bars like a pretzel"! No thanks! I guess based on that statement she will be back on the track by next year. Thats ZX12Girl for ya
She will be on the side line watching and coaching me on the strip
I talked with the doctor and he told me She will have to stay off the leg for a least 8 weeks which is gonna be hard for her to do cause she can't sit still. Well thats all for now going back to the hosptial. She is taking calls and thanks to Need For Speed, the ph. no. is posted in his thread

LIL Sister is OK

It's always good news when a board brother makes a turn for the better. For some reason i feel especially relieved that
our little sister is going to be ok.
Now fix that busa so she can get in the 8's , next year.

I'm very glad to hear that the surgery went well. Healing and rehab are next... and of course getting used to a new set of two wheels... the wheelchair! She'll be doing wheelies in a couple weeks no doubt! I sent over some flowers that should be there this afternoon, hope it helps lift her spirits some. We are all thinking about you, especially me since I've been thru that situation personally and know exactly how it feels to be stuck in the hospital all busted up from a motorcycle accident. Take care and keep us updated!

I'd never get tired of your yapping!!!!

Actually today I was about to go POSTAL if they would not have let me out of the hospital. They came into my room and told me that I had to stay until Suday!!!! (Just before you called).....I was mad as hell. I then told the nurse that if they did not let me out, I was going postal...and asked "Where is my doctor". Let's just say......I persauded the doctor to let me leave

Damn, that was a quick hospital stay! Glad to see your doing as well as I'd hoped. Also glad to see that if you HAD to loop one, you picked the 'busa.

Get better soon,

Glad to hear that she's doing well and in good spirits.
I must admit I am a tad bit " J " of that 60 ft. It seems that accidents are all around us. You all stay safe and ride with family/friends in mind.
