Need Lap Timer

Anyone have any thoughts on an easy way to mount something I could you for my Road America track day, Red?

Sure, get a MyChron lap timer, it's very small, very legible, and is easy to mount. Typically, someone will have a transmitter set up at the track, and you just need to show up with your reciever. Since a xmitter comes with every reciever, if they don't have one set up, set it up yourself!

MyChron does seem to be the choice of most of the CCS, CMRA and WERA folks. The MyChron 2 is sweet, but kind pricy for just using it a couple of times a year. Ah, but you got da bucks... go for it!

If you don't want to buy one you may want to check with the people that are running the track day. Most of the time the timing and scoring is set up for the races so you can rent a transponder for the day and get a report with all your lap times after the you're done running. The charge when I ran was $50.
