For Those Who May BE Interested....
Six guys from Dayton OH are doing a Deals Gap run on July 7-12. We haven't firmed up out lodging yet but will within the next couple of weeks. We are trailering down this time to save tires and look to put in over 1000 miles while we are there. Love to have some others join us, I'll be the only one on a 12. There is 99 R1, 00 Busa, 97 ThunderAce, 99 ZX9R, 95 FZR 1000 and of course the 01 QuickSilver 12R!! Holla at me if you need info and I'll get it to you in real time!!

Accomodations!?!?
They aren't the fanciest accomodations I've stayed in but I'm sure there are worse. I guess that's what happens when you let someone else make the arrangements!!?? At least 3 of us are staying at the Mom & Pop Flop below.
San Ran motel in Robbinsville, NC ($45 nightly), the number is 828-479-3256.

We are planning on arriving mid/late afternoon on July 7, hopefully before 4 pm and maybe tooling around to scout out the area. Then Monday morning we're puttin in some miles provided it's not raining!!!!
Hope to see some of you guys down there even if you don't stay where I'm staying. If you come down call the motel to get a hold of me because I don't know if my sorry ass Sprint PCS will be able to pick up a signal that far out in the boonies. Just ask for BMW, I'll let them know I'm expecting some calls.

OK, Deals Gap Is Less Than A Week Away!!!
The count is up to 7 from Dayton and 2 board members heading to the Gap next weekend. The latest weather check looks very accomodating, 80s during the day with possible evening thunderstorms. Looks like the making for some good riding and Lord knows I need it. Just waiting for the delivery of my rear tire and I'm good to go. If anyone can make it please do, we're a fun bunch of guys who just like to ride. Nothing competitive just good fellowship and fun.
