ZX-12R Jackets on sale!
buykawasaki.com has the leather ZX-12R jackets on sale for $239.95. They only have them in green and sizes from x-small to x-large. Log on to buykawasaki.com and click on "shop for accessories" on the left. Then click on "Hot Deals", then "Jackets". The ZX-12R jacket is on the third page. I tried to provide a link directly to the jacket, but it just took me back to the buykawasaki.com homepage.
Be aware that they charge sales tax on out of state orders. I questioned that and was referred to the customer relations department. I'll have to wait and contact them during the week and find out why the are different then most mail order places.

I have one and I love it. The thing has some really cool vents in the sholders. Pocket space isn't so hot. But all in all a very nice jacket.

Sales tax. christina works at Sears.com and they have to charge sales tax in any of the states they have a business in(store) which is all of them, So I would assume that Kawasaki has to do the same thing, because they have dealers in every state.

You need url in brackets at the beginning and /url in brackets at the end.

SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My jacket comes and the arms are too small. I need an extra large instead of a large. It is easy to return, but now they are out of extra large. Seems every sportbike jacket I have ever tried on was made for guys with pencil thin arms.
Allright, one of you bastiges better return that extra large so they can ship it to me. C'mon, cough it up.

That's why I ordered TWO one L and one XL to make sure I got one that fit. I knew as soon as someone posted they would be out of stock so I ordered both right away.
I will return the one that does not fit since Kawasaki convieniently includes a return shipping label with their orders... very nice. Both arrived this morning but I haven't had a chance to get home and try them on. I'll let you know whichever one I plan on returning. If it's the XL, maybe I can just send it to you instead, will have to wait and see.

If you don't want the XL, I'll take it.
Bergie,
Let me know before you send back the XL if the Large fits you better. Let me know either way, so I know if I should continue my search for a new leather jacket for my 12.
Thanks,
Pat

Done. I recieved both jackets today and although the XL is more comfortable the wife says it looks to big in the body so today is your lucky day! I will be sending you my XL and keeping the Large. Always happy to help out a fellow ZX12R rider whenever possible...
I posted pics if anyone cares to see what the jackets are really like, go here: http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/photos/misc/jacket

Bergie, Thanks for taking care of me.
That jacket sure looks better than the large I received. The green on the one I received is more of a grey/green. It just doesn't seem as green.
I still can't believe how skinny the arms were in the jacket I received.
Thanks again,
Pat
