I run 190-60's without issue. Looks like a car tire on there! You'll be fine with the 55.

I use a 180-55-17, no problems!!!

In fact if You can get 55 series tires they are very good becuse they give rounder profile! there isin't much of tires in 55 - only track oriented so they won't probably last long.
